As a District Manager I, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating our initiatives within the waste management sector, driving operations that emphasize recycling, renewable energy, and responsible waste disposal. This role reports directly to the Regional Manager and is critical in implementing operational strategies that support our mission of taking on tomorrows environmental challenges. Oversee daily operations of district facilities, ensuring compliance with all governmental and environmental regulations. Manage the district's budget, including monitoring and approving expenditures and implementing cost-saving measures. Enhance operational systems, processes, and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being and environmental safety. Lead, train, and develop a team of managers and employees to drive performance in alignment with company’s goals. Cultivate strong community relations by participating in local events and maintaining transparency in operations. Report to regional management with comprehensive reviews of district activities, including analyses of operations and financial performance. Ensure the highest standards of workplace safety, risk management, and crew supervision. Strong leadership and personnel management skills In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and waste management Experience in operational and financial planning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Waste Manager (CWM) preferred OSHA Safety Certification
