DutiesWHAT IS THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYDIVISION?A description

are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this
vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a
lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to
perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this
position.* Performs the following, as routine assignments under
close supervision:* Assist with translating IRS business rules and
processes into requirements;* Assist in identifying and specifying
business requirements for modernized or production systems;*
Develop basic design specifications as a member of a work team, and
present draft specifications to the team leader for discussion;*
Meet with customers to collect information about business
requirements, draft customer business requirements, clarify, and
update requirements where appropriate;* Assist applications
developers in translating requirements into programming
specifications.* Performs other related duties as
assigned.HelpRequirementsConditions of Employment* Must be a U.S.

travel.QualificationsYou must meet the following requirements by
the closing date of this announcement:SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR
GS-05:You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of
difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-04 grade level
in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position
includes: screening and answering telephone calls; Arranging
conferences when required to record and transcribe minutes;
Reviewing correspondence, reports and other documents for proper
format, grammar, punctuation, and mathematical correctness and
writing simple or complex non-technical correspondence; Briefing on
important and office related facts, issues, and reports; Providing
administrative support services such as preparing personnel
actions, reconciling bank/credit account statements and credit card
reports and ordering and maintaining supplies; Retrieving,
gathering, and generating data, as well as using various word
processing, spreadsheet, slides, and statistical data computer
software applications.OREDUCATION: A bachelor's degree or
equivalent degree at an accredited college or university in
computer science, engineering, information science, information
systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics,
or technology management OR bachelor's degree in one or more of the
fields identified above that provided a minimum of 24 semester
hours in the development or adaptation of applications, systems or
networks.ORCOMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination
of experience and education at an accredited college or university
equivalent to 4 years. You may combine the college credits you
completed with any qualifying experience you have to total the
equivalent of a four-year college education.ANDTIME AFTER
COMPETITIVE APPOINTMENT: By the closing date (or if this is an open

least 90 days of federal civilian service since their latest
