Case Mix: Pediatric Hospitalist Reason for Coverage: Coverage for
Full-Time Vacancy PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges
Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging,
and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Standard
Pediatric Hospitalist procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active
Mississippi license Board: Board Certified by the American Board of
Pediatrics or American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics within 5
years post-residency DEA: Active DEA Certification Certifications:
PALS & NRP required Experience: Inpatient service to 24 patients
within the past 24 months Other Qualifications: MD degree required;
three peer references (one from residency director or Chief of
Medicine/Pediatrics, two from PCPs familiar with applicant's work)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient pediatric care and
manage hospital admissions Perform pediatric medical evaluations
and treatment plans Coordinate with nursing and specialty staff as
needed Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled Maintain
accurate documentation in EMR and comply with hospital standards
