Job SummaryThe OB Technician will be responsible for preparing surgical procedures by selecting supplies, instruments, and equipment, performing surgical counts, maintaining sterile techniques, assisting surgeons, and decontaminating clinical equipment. This role demands good communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle stress in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surgical procedures by selecting supplies, instruments, and equipment.
  • Perform surgical counts, maintain sterile techniques, and assist surgeons.
  • Decontaminate clinical equipment and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Enforce safety measures, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and manage physical tasks such as lifting, pushing/pulling, sitting, walking, bending, and reaching.Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
    • Surgical Tech certification from an Accredited program or 1 year of experience in lieu of certification.
    • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
