Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Assistant to join our Med-Surg team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care and assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, mobility, and comfort.
• Coordinate daily patient care activities and assist nursing staff to facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Respond to patient call lights and report to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assist patients with meeting nutritional needs, including feeding, providing fluids, and supplements.
• Participate in inventory control and ordering of unit supplies and equipment.
• Facilitate unit communication and relay information to appropriate team members.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
• Document care provided using worksheets and/or electronic medical records.Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification preferred but not required.
  • Previous nursing assistant experience preferred but not required.
  • Must meet and maintain education requirements upon hire and annually.
  • Basic knowledge of computers preferred.
