Searching for a BE/BC Pediatrician to join one of its growing and well-respected Outpatient Pediatric practices. Excellent opportunity for a Pediatrician as system is committed to growing its Pediatric program, with a large service area and full support from hospital and medical staff, along with administration. We are hopeful to establish an inpatient pediatric presence at our 215-bed hospital at a later date so inpatient experience is a plus. Established outpatient practice -currently one pediatrician in the clinic along with an adult/pediatric NP and mid-wives Will not cover nursery or C-Sections. Neonatology coverage does that. Level III NICU. Ability to step into an already existing practice with a large referral base throughout East Mississippi and West Alabama. Pediatric Clinic located close to the hospital. EHR system- EPIC systemwide. Inpatient experience is a plus as hospital wants to establish a pediatric inpatient program. The Commun ity: A mid-sized town with a population of 45 to 50,000. Commonly referred as the Transportation Center of the South, the area is very centrally located with rapid access to major cities including New Orleans, LA (3 hours); Jackson, MS (1.5 hours); Birmingham, AL (2.5 hours); Atlanta, GA (4 hours); and the beaches of Gulf Shores, AL (3.5 hours).
