Job Description:

Patient Advocate: * Protects patient from potential injury; selects operative setups and supplies to maintain sterile technique during all procedures Customer Service: * Monitors customer service through assessment and evaluation. Recommends and implements action for improving. Management of Team:* Coaches and assists team members in preparation, use and maintenance of supplies and equipment. Assists in the training of all new employees. Performance competency: * Possesses a working knowledge of all equipment, contrast media, and inventory used during procedures. Maintains performance competency through attendance at required in-service/education program, annual review and maintains credit hours for continued certification. Goals and Objectives: * Assists the manager in identifying and accomplishing departmental goals and objectives. Cross training:* Possesses the willingness to expand knowledge.Technical Competency: * Renders highest technical skills in physiological recordings and possesses a complete knowledge of digital radiography imaging. Become competent with pacemaker programming, testing, and implantation.REQUIREMENTS:* Must be a Registered Nurse, Registered RT(R) with ARRT or RRT, 1-3 years' experience* Must be CPR certified; ACLS certification desired* Possess knowledge of cardiac patients, defibrillators, and Code Blue* Competent in caring for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patientsAt North Mississippi Health Services, our mission is to "continuously improve the health of the people of our region."
