A leading corrugated packaging facility in Tupelo, MS is seeking a proactive and strategic Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations and maximize uptime in a high-volume production environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, fostering a culture of safety, and driving continuous improvement across the facility. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment uptime and production efficiency. Develop and execute short- and long-term maintenance strategies aligned with operational goals. Champion safety by implementing robust maintenance safety programs and driving a safety-first culture. Build a world-class maintenance program using industry best practices to boost reliability and reduce downtime. Monitor and report on KPIs including equipment reliability, safety compliance, and cost efficiency. Guide and mentor a high-performing maintenance team; ensure training, engagement, and accountability. Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, leveraging CMMS platforms to track and optimize performance. Collaborate with the Plant Leadership Team to align on goals, strategy, and cross-functional initiatives. Engage with labor union representatives to maintain productive, win-win labor relations. Stay current on emerging technologies and lead the integration of modern maintenance tools and techniques. Qualifications: Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering – Required Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Preferred 10 years of maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing – Corrugated Packaging strongly preferred Proven track record in maintenance planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement. Proficiency in CMMS systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and understanding of PLC/DCS technologies. Strong problem-solving, people leadership, and communication skills.
