Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A Special Education Teacher position is available to
support PreK-K and 3rd-grade students in an inclusion classroom
setting located in Grenada, MS. This contract role offers a start
date in August 2026 and continues through the 2027 school year,
providing 37.5 hours of work per week across 5 days (7.5 hours per
day). Key Qualifications: Valid Mississippi Special Education
Licensure Experience working with early childhood and elementary
age groups, particularly in inclusion classrooms Strong
understanding of special education strategies and individualized
instruction Ability to collaborate with general education teachers
and support staff to meet diverse student needs Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored instruction to PreK-K and 3rd-grade students with
special needs in an inclusive classroom environment Develop and
implement individualized education programs (IEPs) consistent with
state guidelines Monitor and assess student progress, providing
ongoing feedback and modifying instruction as needed Collaborate
effectively with parents, teachers, and support personnel to foster
a supportive learning environment Maintain accurate records and
documentation related to student performance and compliance
